Budapest native and London College of Fashion graduate Sandra Sandor launched Nanushka in Hungary in 2006. Infatuated with the Bauhaus art movement of the ‘20s, Sandor applied its emphasis on function, comfort, tradition and playfulness to her own design ethic. Street-style hit Nanushka thrives at finding the mutual language between apparent opposites – think leather-look designs with vegan principles, luxurious fabrics that are easily washable, and practical details highlighted as art.
